Training

We call our soccer training, Academy Commitment with outside interests.  During soccer season we expect our girls to put soccer first in front of other sports.  BUT we encourage our girls to play other sports like basketball, track and swimming.  This variety is important to body development and most important it keeps our girls fresh and loving soccer.
Our team values strong player development in a fun atmosphere.  We participate in the following training schedule offering exceptional opportunities to our girls.

Slam Program
1. Pre season 3 times / week skills and conditioning       
2 During season 2 practice / week +plus weekend practice when no game
3.   1 indoor season with special foot skills training during indoor
4.    Advanced foot skills during summer while practicing (July and Aug) and again in the Winter from Jan thru March)
5.     Goalie Training with Local Experts
6.       Fundamental Training with Xavier University Head Women’s Coach.
7.       Specialized training opportunities as they develop.
9.       Guest topic instructors
10.     King’s ala carte training opportunities.

Players are encouraged to participate in Summer camps.
